I never considered myself a “pink” kinda girl, especially when it came to decorating, but once I started planning my renovation last year that notion went out the window and I couldn’t get enough of it. I ended up going for more of a neutral pink room and adding a bright pink carpet to my living room, but after stumbling on an insane about of pink and green inspiration I’m desperately trying to figure out how I can add this color combination to my apartment!

I honestly NEVER realized how amazing this color combo could be, but once I started down the Pinterest rabbit hole I quickly realized that decorating with pink and green is the next big thing. Pink and green are complementary colors, meaning they’re on opposite sides of the color wheel, and while they create a strong contrast when placed next to each other, they truly do complement one another and when used correctly they draw the eye exactly where you want it to go.
